Trevor Turner, MD
Dr. Trevor Turner, a native Texan, graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1987 with a BBA in Finance. He went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston in 1991. In 1996, he completed his combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at UT Houston, where he served as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine.\
Dr. Turner practiced in Houston for two years then, in 1998, moved to the Round Rock area, where he was a founding member of Brushy Creek Family Physicians. His medical interests include preventative care for both children and adults and cardiovascular disease treatment and prevention. Dr. Trevor also is a clinical assistant professor at the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. His medical affiliations include the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Physicians, the Texas Medical Association and the Williamson County Medical Society. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Turner is married to Kelly Thorstad, MD, and they have two children. He enjoys running, music, UT sports and coaching youth sports in his spare time.
