Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas has achieved the highest designation for trauma care -- we are now a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center, as verified by the American College of Surgeons. Our multidisciplinary team, known as the Trauma Service, takes a comprehensive approach to caring for children who are acutely injured. The Dell Children?s Trauma Service is built on five components: clinical care; education and outreach; research; injury prevention and advocacy; and telemedicine.
